Are you sitting comfortably?

None of us are completely symmetrical, but could this be having an effect on your horse and his way of going?

For yourself

A combined physiotherapy assessment with your horse can identify ways in which you may be compensating for weak or tight areas, particularly around your hips, this can have a massive influence on your horse. An initial rider assessment will involve looking at your posture, identifying problems and working on these areas.

You will then be given your own personalised exercise plan to perform prior to your ridden work, whist you are riding or as a home based exercise plan.

You can book a 60 minute assessment at your yard, which will look at you riding, assess and treat problem areas then reassess your ridden work.

Alternatively you can visit Maxine in Mountsorrel for a 45 minute rider assessment, which will look at your abilities off the horse. A thorough exercise regime, including specific Pilates exercise can be then be established.
